Shipping & Returns

We can send your order anywhere within the contiguous United States. Currently we are not shipping to Alaska or Hawaii; but maybe adding that service in the future. All our items are Warehouse packed for safe delivery. We ship all products by best available option unless otherwise directed. This usually takes between 1 to 5 working days depending on the delivery service in the destination area.

We normally try to ship our products the next business day unless requested otherwise. If we are unable to dispatch your order within three business days we will contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date. Once we hand your package over to the shipper we will send notice through the email address you have provided

Some of our products are made to order, such as our personalized offerings, and may be shipped directly from the artisan's location. These products will be shipped when available but can have lead times of several days or more. We will ship in stock items and follow on with custom crafted, special order, or backordered items as soon as they become available.

Please check your delivery address carefully as we will not be responsible for delivery to an incorrect address. The customer shall be responsible for the cost to resend a parcel that is returned because of an incorrect address.


If an order is refused upon delivery you will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred with your order

If an order has been dispatched by courier and is not received or the package arrives damaged contact the shipper directly. Love of the horse is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. Please contact the shipper directly for resolution.

If an item is received and it is either damaged or faulty, a return claim MUST be filed with Love of the horse within 3 days from date of delivery of goods. We will do our best to make things right.

We may require that the defective item be returned to us.

The following options will then be made available:

1. Replacement: If possible, a replacement will be sent, subject to availability.

2. Credit: If no replacement is available, a credit will be offered to the full amount of the purchase price.

3. Refund: If a refund is required, it will be provided according to the original payment (i.e. if payment was made on Visa, the visa will be credited. If the item was purchased by direct credit, the debited account shall be credited). If paid by check we will issue you a refund by check after 10 days.

We'll give you 30 days to return most unopened, and still in new condition items that are in resell able conditions.
You pay shipping back to us and we'll give you a credit for 90% of the purchase price in store credit you can use for future purchases. Shipping charges can not be refunded. Contact us as soon as possible and we will confirm if the item is returnable and provide shipping information to you. Once we have received and verified the condition of the product we will email you a code to be used for the adjusted amount.

Exceptions to Refund policy

Customized and any special order products are never returnable.

Food products and Artisan soaps are never returnable.
